Bruce and Swift have been working with Elliott Yamin (from American Idol) on his new album. Elliott is really into basketball and Bruce always talks about how good he is because he used to play in college. With that said Elliott has been trying to get Bruce on the court. When I was a broke, an aspiring rapper out of East New York Brooklyn!!! tryin’ to come up, we only had 2 ways to get poppin’ – perform at local shows like Mad Weds. (Shouts to Maria Davis & Rudy King) and to shoot a vid and hope Ralph would play it on Video Music box. Shawn Prez over at Bad Boy use to manage me at the time, so he approached him and Ralph respected the team’s hustle and just put it on. Not once, but in rotation. I’ve always felt that the love Uncle Ralph showed us, is and will always continue to be a strong part of the foundation of my career.
