The return of the mack

James ‘Bubba’ Stewart has officially registered for the last four races of the 2010 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championships, according to MX Sports. After much speculation, news came out of Morgantown, WV this morning that the San Manuel Yamaha rider will be on board his #7 bike for the remainder of the season. The much-anticipated return of the fastest man on the planet will begin August 14th in New Berlin, NY at the Rockstar Energy Drink Unadilla National. After recovering from a wrist injury sustained early in the SX season, Stewart will return to the Outdoor Nationals for the first time since 2008.

James Stewart clinches AMA Motocross Championship

MILLVILLE, Minn. (August 17, 2008) After effectively dominating the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship through 10 of the 12 rounds, both Monster Energy Kawasaki’s James Stewart, of Haines City, Fla., and Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., clinched the 2008 titles with two rounds remaining in AMA Motocross and AMA Motocross Lites at the Honda Spring Creek Pro National Presented by Scott USA.

The championship marks the first of Stewart’s career in the premier AMA Motocross class. Additionally, he continued his perfect season, clinching the title by taking the first moto win and cruising to victory in the final moto of the day. He is now a perfect 20-0 in motos this season and 10-0 overall.

James Stewart is the first African-American AMA Motocross champion in the history of the sport. I was at the first round of the championship and hes the fastest rider ive ever seen!
