RIP Isaac Hayes

We have had the pleasure of being granted permission to sample Isaac Hayes’s music over the years, and his songs have influenced popular music since the 1960’s. He died far too young, our condolences to his family. He will be missed!

From the NY Daily News - A family member found Hayes unresponsive near a treadmill and he was pronounced dead about an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, according to the sheriff’s office. The cause of death was not immediately known.

Here is a song we sampled Isaac Hayes “Mans Temptation”, on Mack 10’s 2005 release “Hustler’s Handbook”. The song is called “So Gangsta”. RIP
