This is reminiscent of “Ain’t no Mountain High Enough.” I love Fantasia’s voice she is a powerhouse. Thank you for sharing this. It was so nice for her to consider her fans. That’s just like her.
That would have been a much better, more mature and consistent album with this intro + Broke + No Stoppin and minus a few weak tracks like Not The Way That I Do and I’m Not That Type.
When you put it together like this you actually have a damn good coherent album you can listen to from beginning to end!
1. Without You
2. Hood Boy
3. Uneligible
4. Two Weeks Notice
5. Broke
6. Bore Me (Yawn)
7. Baby Makin Hips
8. It’s A Party
9. Solo
10. I Feel Beautiful
11. When I See U
12. Surround U
13. Bump What Ya Friends Say
14. Only One U
15. I Nominate You
16. No Stoppin’
Too many songs left off of the “Fantasia” album that would have made it a super hott album (solo, broke). Hope J gets it together this round or we are going to have to leave ‘em Tay….LOL, but I’m serious. Much Love to Midi mafia and the heat yall bring.

I listen to “Broke” at least two or three times a week. It’s my favorite Fantasia song. She’s real and raw and genius on that track. Like she’d sound on an indie label. Thank you for that and for “When I See U” and now for “Without You.” My cup runneth over. What else have you got?
Not for Publication: Last July I met one of the producers of “Fantasia For Real” socially. He was back home in LA for a week and bitching about having to work on a show shot in the South during the summer with someone he did not get and whose music he was not interested in. He kind of liked gabbing with her mother, but mostly wished he could return to rehab in Malibu. I didn’t tell him I was a big fan of ‘tasia but started playing all her tracks on my Mac while he talked: both albums, A.I.recordings, live recordings, unreleased tracks, etc. “Broke” came on and he suddenly shut up for a second, then: “Who is THAT?” I said “that’s Fantasia Barrino.” He looked like he’d been sucker-punched and said “but that’s really GOOD!” I thought: “Now how do I get him to leave?” but I played it again and then “When I See U” and then “I Nominate U” (I know you didn’t produce that but it’s my #3 favorite.) He says: “Wow, wow can I stay here tonight?” I said, “No, get the fuck out of here, you’re getting sweat all over my stuff.” That last part was gratuitous, but it really happened. He became a believer.

Label heads don’t know anything. These guys seem so out of touch with what the people want. Proof was shown while watching Fantasia and Monicas’ reality shows. They could at least add the songs they may feel unsure of as bonus tracks, wether it be for international releases or online. And they wonder why the industry is going to shit. What jackasses!!!
omg…why wasn’t this on da second album?!?!? lol…they left so many awesome tracks off da album…hottt!

Wow, J Records left a jewel off of the second album.
